Jumbo Bag Straps & Webbing
Polypropylene straps and webbing for jumbo bag handles and ties, with strength and width made to order.
Jumbo bag webbing is the woven strap that carries the full weight of the bag. If the body of the bag holds the load, the strap is what lifts it — which is why this component's tensile strength determines the safety margin of the whole product. The straps are woven on needle looms from polypropylene yarn under controlled tension, to achieve maximum strength at minimum weight.
Strap width and thickness are chosen based on the bag's rated load — lighter bags use narrower straps, while heavier-duty bags or sling bags are fitted with wider, multi-layer straps. The strap is typically attached to the bag body with multi-row stitching so the load is distributed evenly rather than concentrated at one point.
Beyond jumbo bags, the same webbing is used for general cargo strapping and tie-down, agricultural applications, and anywhere a strong, lightweight polypropylene strap is needed.
