Sling Bag
A lightweight bag with an integrated full-body lifting sling, for fast handling and transport.
Designed for lifting heavy loads by crane, particularly in ports, mines and construction projects. Instead of corner loops, it uses long, full-body slings that pass under the bag, so the weight is distributed across the whole body rather than at four points.
This design typically has a higher capacity than a standard jumbo bag and is made in three common configurations: single-sling, double-sling and multi-sling. Its main use is in ship loading and unloading, and transporting minerals, sand and gravel, aggregate, and heavy export cargo.
The full-length straps of a sling bag are typically made from the same high-strength polypropylene webbing used for jumbo bag straps, with the key difference that in a sling bag these straps run continuously under the bag rather than attaching only at the corners.
