Baler Twine
Polypropylene twine made for baler machines, for packaging fodder and agricultural produce.
Baler twine is used in hay and forage baling machines and needs two properties at once: high tensile strength to withstand the pressure of the bale, and resistance to sunlight for the weeks the bales spend outdoors. The UV-additive version is produced specifically for these conditions.
Available to order: in various deniers, lengths, colors and strengths, wound on standard spools for baler machines.
Baler twine is typically made from 100% polypropylene — unlike natural fiber twines such as sisal or jute, it doesn't absorb moisture, doesn't rot, and resists rodents better, which is why it has largely replaced natural twine in hay and forage baling. Its main use is bundling straw, stover, hay, and similar agricultural products, whether with square or round balers.
