Woven Polypropylene Sack
Lightweight, durable woven sacks, suited to packaging cement, fertilizer, grain and minerals.
The woven polypropylene sack is the most widely used bulk packaging in the 5 to 100 kilogram range. Production starts from drawn polypropylene tapes, which are woven into fabric on a circular loom. The result is a sack that combines light weight, strength and an attractive price, and stands up to tearing, moisture and repeated handling.
Available to order: fabric weight from 40 to 120 grams per square meter, any dimensions, warp and weft count adjusted for the required strength, single or double stitching with reinforcing tape, UV additive, and flexographic printing in up to several colors on either side.
Applications: flour, rice, sugar and pulses, animal and poultry feed, fertilizer and seed, cement and gypsum, minerals and chemicals, agricultural products, and building materials.
Woven PP sacks have largely replaced traditional jute and paper sacks — unlike jute, they don't absorb moisture or develop mold and rot, and unlike paper, they resist tearing and abrasion far better during handling and transport. This combination of durability and light weight has made them the default choice for most bulk packaging industries in recent decades.
